''Dūmoti'' collection is about making interpretations of old ethnographic objects. All the different items of this collection have one connecting element – the color black.
There was a time when black was a dominant home interior color, especially in the kitchen space. In Lithuanian ethnographic wooden houses, it was quite common not to use the chimney. In these types of houses people only used windows to release the smoke. Most of the things that were close to the furnace were totally black.
The word ''Dūmoti'' in Lithuanian means sooty or smoky.
The concept of this collection of interior accessories was to bring some history and ethnography to the modern interior.
